Mr. Piet Holten

Piet HoltenPiet is the President and CEO of The Pactics Group and founder of The Pactics Foundation. With an extensive background in international business, Piet began entrepreneuring in 2004 with the start of Pactics in the USA. In 2008, he set up Pactics’ first factory in Shanghai, China. Operating in an environment in which there was not much consideration for workers’ health, safety and general well-being, he decided to turn the tables and make Corporate Social Responsibility Pactics’ unique selling point. The success of this approach led to the building of a second factory, this time in Siem Reap Cambodia. With funding from the Dutch government, a fully sustainable factory was built in 2013. With a committed and enthusiastic team working at Pactics Cambodia, the day to day operations are fully in accordance with the highest level of corporate social standards.

Piet has lived and worked in South Africa, Malaysia, the United States, China and Cambodia.
